A young captain Isabel Montagne recounts the stories of her island home.  Memories unfold, bringing the history of Madagascar and her memories back to life. She highlights the journey of Sam Danaher and her encounters with him.

This story began in a worn-down bar. The color of the aged walls and the antique props/set decoration being neutral toned emphasizes the passed time and supports the characters long arduous journey through life. The colors and set decoration arrangement become more lively in flashbacks to reveal a youthful energy that is lost in the moments that Captain Isabel recalls her experiences on Iles Saint Marie.
